In Atalanti valley, close to the ancient “center of the world” Delphi, you discover on of the oldest modern wineries, Domaine Hatzimichalis.
We provide you a unique wine tasting experience with 5 glasses of wine of 75 ml from the winery. We provide you also a tour in the winery, to explore the unique terroir.
Do not miss the opportunity to taste indigenous varities like assyrtiko, malagouzia, but also ancient grapes that the owner M. Dimitris Hatzimichalis, has repatriated from South Italy, the ancient greek colonies.

Winery tour at Domaine Hatzimichalis

Discover the landscape of Atalanti valley in Central Greece. Two hours away from Athens the mountain faces the sea and this combination helps the vines to give the best of grapes.Once you arrived you can walk around the facilities, get information about the winemaking procedure, visit the wine cellars and end up into the wine tasting room.

We provide you 5 glasses of wine of 75 ml with maps of Greek wine regions, informative video and all information needed.


You can have access to more wine tastings , or wines by the glass. you can supply wine bottles in a take out price or you can order wines to be shipped at home. You can be part of our private wine club.


Central Greece

The area

Atalanti is the second largest town in Phthiotis, Greece. It is located southeast of Lamia, north of Livadeia and northwest of Chalcis. In 2011, it was incorporated into the municipality of Lokroi, a government seat and municipal unit. The town can be accessed via the Greek National Road 1 (Athens – Lamia – Thessaloniki). It is situated in central Greece, surrounded by Mt. Knimida to the north, Mt. Chlomo to the south, Mt. Parnassus to the west, and the northern Eubean Gulf to the east. The area is characterized by high concentrations of magnesium and iron in the soil.
